ACE Grease Service Inc. has officially received International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), a move that positions the family-owned collector to participate in the rapidly growing renewable fuels supply chain. ACE Grease offers used cooking oil recycling services to clients in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Arkansas.
The company is now certified under two ISCC schemes. ISCC EU and CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation). Both certifications verify that ACE Grease's used cooking oil qualifies as a genuine waste or residue feedstock, a critical distinction for buyers in compliant biodiesel and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) markets.
That verification matters. Renewable fuel producers operating under strict sustainability mandates need documented proof that their feedstock is traceable from source to finished fuel. ISCC certification provides exactly that: a standardized chain of custody that allows UCO to move through the certified supply chain and into compliant biofuel production.
For the broader UCO industry, ACE Grease's certification is another data point in a clear trend: collectors that want access to premium feedstock buyers are getting certified. ISCC credentialing is increasingly table stakes for serious players in the space.
Max Kostelac, a representative at ACE Grease Service, framed the certification as a long-term investment in the company's role in the energy transition:
"Receiving our ISCC certification is a major milestone for Ace Grease Service and reinforces our commitment to sustainability, traceability, and responsible recycling. This certification allows us to better serve the growing renewable fuels market while providing our customers with confidence that their used cooking oil is being recycled to the highest international standards. As a family-owned company, we are proud to continue investing in the future of renewable energy and sustainable fuel production."
